Prerequisites: A minimum of 30 credits from a teacher education program. |
| Content: This course examines what mean to be a teacher and how a teacher's personal and collective teacher identity take shape. The course departs from a praxis-oriented perspective, and the main part of the course (15 days) consists of teaching placement. Based on the students' experiences in schools, theoretical concepts such as experience and reflection, are explored in the course. |
| Teaching Methods: Teaching may be conducted in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops, web-based discussions and 15 days of teaching placement. |
| Assessment: The course can be assessed through written examination, teaching placement, take-home examination, compulsory course components, paper, essay and /or oral examination. |
