Prerequisites: Object Oriented Programming, 7.5 credits.

Content: Java is a modern, easy-to-use and secure programming language. It is one of the world's most widely used programming languages. Java is used in everything from advanced web applications to cellular telephones and robots. In the course we go through advanced and modern Java with a focus on graphical user interfaces, network programming and distributed systems. The course also gives advanced knowledge in object-oriented design. A large part of the course consists of a programming project.

Teaching Methods: The teaching consists of lectures and an individual project.

Assessment:  Written examination as well as written and oral presentations of project.
