| Content: This course focuses on how the image of a modern Swedish society is constructed and deconstructed in cultural forms such as art, film, literature, and music over the course of the 20th and 21st century. The emphasis is on literature and film and the course includes both Swedish classics and the contemporary Swedish crime fiction and film wave. |
| Teaching Methods: Teaching may be conducted in the form of lectures and film screenings. |
| Assessment: The course can be assessed through presentations, written papers, seminars, discussions, oral and written assessments. |
