Core Concepts of EU Law, Second Cycle

Prerequisites: 180 credits at the first level out of which 90 credits with increasing depth within law, including an essay (G2E) of 15 credits; alternatively,180 credits at the first level of which 90 credits with increasing depth within political science, including an essay (G2E) of 15 credits. Additional requirements: English Course B/English Course 6.

Content: The course aims at a deeper knowledge of the substantive rules of the EU treaties relating to commercial law. The course aims to both broaden and deepen the knowledge of European commercial law students acquired in the study scheme earlier part. The course focuses on principles of free movement of goods, services, establishment, capital and competition.

Teaching Methods: Lectures, seminars, academic, case seminars and home exam. 2/3 of the lectures are compulsory. The written memo, the oral presentation, the written test, participation in all academic seminars, the case seminar and the home exam are compulsory.
